Hot Source is the innovation forum for people in Norfolk’s creative, digital and advanced technology sectors. We want to encourage people from these sectors to shares ideas and experiences. Our aim is to help creativity and enterprise flourish in the region and to build Norwich’s reputation as a #TechNation cluster.
We MeetUp on the second Thursday every quarter. Normally this is for ‘talkies’ on important or interesting subjects - we sometimes arrange fun ‘makies’. We post videos, slideshows and blogs about these events on various channels. Feel free to revisit them - and share them with your network.
This is not a networking group in the traditional sense. It is not a place to sell your services or be sold to. Instead its a place to engage in interesting conversations with people from different disciplines and sectors.
It is not for everyone - but if you think it’s for you, please join our Meetup group (it’s free - just like our events). This is the best way to keep up with what we are doing. You can also suggest future topics and speakers on our discussion board.
Please also follow us on twitter @HSNorwich - and save the hashtag #HSNorwich - to get the latest tech and digital creative news. You can also ‘like’ our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/HSNorwich, join our LinkedIn group - and sign up for our (occasional) newsletter →.
Remember: we are stronger together.
Anyone is welcome to join the group and virtually all the meetings are free to attend. The group is run entirely by volunteers and has zero budget. As such, wee are always interested in talking to potential sponsors - if that is you, please get in touch (see the links below).
Organisers
Currently Hot Source is co-organised by Huw Sayer, Caroline Mayers, Matt Dolan, Niall Cook, Guy Potter, Natalie Douglas and Wayne Fick. They took over as the organising team at the start of 2015 when the original founders - Tom Wood, Nania Tate and Jake Hithersay - stepped back to focus on running their successful businesses.
We are very open to suggestions and comments so please feel free to contact us on twitter or the LinkedIn group. We also welcome anyone who wishes to join the organising committee, again please get in touch.
Thank you to the Hot Source Founders
